In Marchman Act cases most people think that the court will decide which hospital/treatment program will be used. The statutes actually allow the family to select the treatment program if they have the resources, otherwise one will be appointed.  State funded treatment programs can be a blessing but if they can be avoided, private programs are the way to go!
